Farm to Table: Greenhouse Dinner

Our gourmet chef prepares you a 4-course meal crafted from only the best and freshest ingredients on our farm and local farmers. Dinner will be served inside one of our greenhouses, so you'll have all the sights and smells of blooming flowers as you eat to your heart's content.

MENU
Creamy Tomato Basil Soup
a variety of hydroponic tomatoes stewed down with garlic, onions, basil, finished with cream and grilled baguette

Pickled Beet Salad
candy cane and golden beets with arugula, hydroponic lettuce, herbed goat cheese, mandarin oranges, walnuts,and a honey vinaigrette

West Virginia Trout Cakes
with wilted rainbow swiss chard, roasted cherry tomatoes, pickled chard stems, and a fennel cream sauce

Chocolate Mint Plant
layers of chocolate cake with mint chocolate chip buttercream icing and chocolate ganache

Guests are welcome to arrive at 5:30pm, 30 minutes before dinner service. Dinners typically run 2 to 2 1/2 hours. Dinner service will start at 6:00 and guests are expected to be seated at that time. If you come late, you may miss a course.

Be familiar with the directions to the farm and DO NOT rely on GPS to get you to the farm on time. The farm is about 45 minutes to an hour from both Charleston and Huntington. Directions are available on our website. http://www.grittsfarm.com

This is a working farm. Please dress weather appropriate and wear proper footwear: we suggest a closed toe, comfortable shoe.

When you arrive, a Gritt’s Farm employee will be in the parking lot to direct parking, check you in, and escort everyone to the pavillion area.  Handicap parking is available, please indicate your specific needs upon making your dinner reservations.

Dinner tickets include the full dinner, all non-alcoholic beverages, and a farm tour. Gratuity is not included in the price of your ticket. If you are pleased with the service staff, please show them appreciation. There will be a tip jar available.
